How DocuNav Solutions collects, uses, and protects personal information on this website.

Effective date: August 12, 2026  ·  Last updated: August 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how DocuNav Solutions (“DocuNav,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit docunav.com and related pages on this site, submit a form, or use the customer Training Portal.

This page is about this website. If your organization is a DocuNav customer, we may also process data as your service provider under a separate agreement. That customer work is not the same as website marketing inquiries.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site and respond to you.

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

What we do not collect on this marketing site

3. Why we use it

Under the GDPR, those purposes usually rest on: taking steps at your request or performing a contract (you asked us to contact you, or you use the portal as a customer); legitimate interests (running a business website, security, following up on a work inquiry); and consent where you opt in (for example, “notify me when the next user group is coming up”).

4. Cookies and similar technology

A cookie is a small file a site can store in your browser. Similar tools include local storage and login sessions.

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on this site today. If that changes, we will update this policy.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (the kind of “sale/share” the CCPA talks about). Because of that, this site does not need a separate “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link.

6. How long we keep it

7. Your California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

To make a request, email support@docunav.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request,” or call 1-800-353-2320 (Option 3, Support). We will need enough information to verify you are the person the request is about. You may use an authorized agent if they can show they have permission to act for you.

We will respond within the time the CCPA requires (generally 45 days, with a possible extension when the law allows).

If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as an opt-out of sale/share. Because we do not sell or share, there is nothing extra to turn off for advertising.

8. Your GDPR / UK GDPR rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data; to object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

DocuNav is based in the United States. If you submit a form or create a training account from outside the U.S., your information is processed in the United States. We do that because it is necessary to respond to you or to provide the portal you asked to use.

To exercise these rights, email support@docunav.com.

9. Children

This website is for business, school-district, and government professionals. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these public pages.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information (HTTPS, limited staff access, and account login on the Training Portal). No website is perfectly secure. Please use a unique password for the Training Portal and contact us if you think an account was misused.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when our practices or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. The current version will always be at this page.
